I am a researcher (RTDA) at the Department of Mathematics of the Università degli Studi di Firenze.

I work as a member of the Algebra group.

Previously I was a Gott Research Fellow in Pure Mathematics at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.

Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kaiserslautern as part of the working group led by Gunter Malle.

I completed my PhD in 2015 at Royal Holloway University of London under the (great) supervision of Mark Wildon.

The focus of my PhD thesis was on the representation theory of symmetric groups.

I obtained Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Florence.

My dissertation on Hausdorff dimension in profinite groups was supervised by Orazio Puglisi.

My main area of research is the representation theory of finite groups.

This brief introduction to this area of Mathematics was written together with Jay Taylor.

I currently have a PhD student, Stacey Law who is working on representations of symmetric groups.
